In 1973 the book Newport County Diamond Jubilee was published, here below is it's launch day at the Priory Hotel in Caerleon....

A copy of the book is presented with Newport MP Roy Hughes (second from right) looking on...I think the person on the left is Brian Stent, Does anyone know who the other gentlemen are? please e-mail me if you have any info! 24/2/09 Jeff Emms a County fan now living in Cambridge suggests the gentlemen on the right is former right back Len Staples. However it is in fact Glyn Houston, who back then was Chairman of the Vice Presidents Club who published the book.
